Sykes Racing is Australia's oldest and largest builder of racing shells; the rowing boats you see in events like the Olympics.

Founded when Jeff Sykes designed, built, and raced the single scull that won the 1966 Australian National Title, we're still based in Jeff's home town of Geelong."Sykesie" is no longer involved with the company, leaving the day-to-day operations in 2001, but has since commented that the boats being built today are the finest in the company's nearly 50-year history.

Tom Gallagher established Sykes Racing North America, Inc 12 years ago, and has since imported over 400 Sykes boats to the US and Canada. We're now one of the most established foreign builders in North America, recognised for our service and respected for our knowledge.

The Spirit of Excellence for Nearly 50 Years.
